SOUND RESONENCE mount on a mhs choke

Hello all,

Ive tried so many different ways to get good sound ,ive tried plastics,wood {lol}
metal, and various items that i could find to achieve good sound ,but to no avail. I couldn't get it just the way i wanted it---until now.

I took a MHS choke #1 and test mounted the speaker on the flush side of the choke with a 1" peice of abs plastic vacuum tube to baffle the speaker from the rear,
caped it then drilled a 1/2" hole in the cap for venting.

The vacuum tube piece fit perfectly inside the hilt with the speaker mounted to it with super glue,slid into the hilt, then the choke was screwed on till it met flush with the speaker .
Using the entire choke piece as a resonance chamber with the style 8 pommel
drilled 3/8" holes on the side to let the sound flow

WOW--150% increase in volume,super treble ,super bass,very loud
thats my solution to resonance.

Sounds like a good idea but might not work for everyone depending on thier saber design.

I was just wondering, because some guys have actually used test equipment and have metered the amount of decibels that certain boards, speakers or set ups have put out.

Sounds interesting but the image makes no sense to me.

If the vacuum tube is attached behind the speaker and the speaker facing the choke then the vacuum tube wouldn't be visible from this angle.

The pic looks like vacuum tube over a choke which I imagine would muffle the sound.

The vacuum tube is inside the hilt butted against the sound card sled, what you see on the choke is just a rubber dishwasher motor vent hose stretched over the choke to fill the space,it has no function ,its just for looks.
sound travels through the solid choke piece to vented pommel.
