Thread: "Merciless"

    Default "Merciless"

This is a new saber I've been workign on this weekend. It's entirely MHS parts...modified by Tim himself. Tim cut me a couple grooves for the inlay of a ribbed belting material on the emitter and near the pommel, the holes drilled in the choke section for forward sound, and the flutes cut in the grip section to my specs...so I had room for a little something extra.

I got the majority of the work done yesterday evening and today. All that is left in electronics install...and that will have to wait until I can get a CF.

Well, let me know what you think:

The engraving reads "May the Lord have mercy on my enemies, for I will not"

I like the "color" scheme (for lack of a better term) and the use of rubber belts. Nice engraving work.

it would be epic if the symbols were cut all the way through, and backlit by diffused plastic. Kinda like a really fancy non-crystal chamber.

That's very sharp, very good use of contrast to catch the eye

The engraving is really cool, what tool/bit did you use?

    I don't know what I like best.

    The engraving...
    The shinyness...
The reverse sound holes in the choke...
the custom work on the emmitter...

You are an amazing saber smith, I hope you realize that.

What color are you planning on making it?
