    Default Chaos Silencer

I haven't been on here for a while, and I realized I never posted my Lightsaber that I built.

Alright, after much blood, sweat, and tears (not to mention the rant or two ) here's my first lightsaber with electronics. Of course, it's name is Chaos Silencer, and here are the specs:
    • 1.5" sinktube extender with flange
    • 1.5" PVC shroud
    • Hasbro economy sound board
    • 6.0 volt alkaline battery pack
    • Green Cree XR-E star
    • TCSS speaker
    • 3/4" thin-walled PolyC blade
    • Blade is 36" long with 34" visible
    • Custom blade holder
    • Sanded PolyC blade with 1ft of cellophane and Corbin film double wrap

    Obligitory glory shots:

Here are a couple blade pictures with my camera:

And just for fun, here is a picture of my "workstation":

Here's my piece of art wiring. If you look, you can also see my custom blade holder:

just curious, why do you have a recharge port with non rechargeable batteries???

I'll bet the emmitter has cut a few people.

Like the overlay work and the removal of the crome on the tube at the emitter end.

Cool but yikes! Can you store band-aids in the pommel?

Hehe, I suppose I should have mentioned that. The emitter isn't actually sharpened. In fact, it's quite dull. As Goltar Bias said, all I did was remove the chrome to reveal the color underneath. I made sure that the emitter wasn't actually sharp. Oh, and I'm planning on putting rechargable batteries in eventually, so right now the port is just serving as a kill switch.

Why are your wires so long?

i was wondering the same thing. thats a TON of excess wire. but i LOVE the saber. its neeto. although i think it diserves a red sith blade. but even a sith kinda looks good witha green blade. makes it erie. ive seen a picture of it but cant place it.

It will take a more powerful saber than that to silence me.
