dig the display
i love the yellow blue combination. and the idea to use the blade plug on the other end was brilliant! wonderfull pommel idea. isnt it a fantastic yellow?
IMHO the Oklahoma yellow lee gives the best yellow blade. period.
Um could you move the lightsaber and pictures please, I want to see the parts you used for the display...
Would you like to share???

Uh you mean the mounting frame?
It's a *very* crude frame as you can see from the pic, but it serves its' purpose and was easy to put together.
I'm sure there's an opportunity to make a profit off of something a bit more professional looking, but I have enough on my hands at the moment.
I think I used a thin piece of wood, two metal beam U-shaped brackets, a few 3/8" screws, and two small metal strips. I tapped and drilled screws for the mounting points. I used a piece of spare green wire which attaches the frame to a screw in the wall.

Actually I was talking about the two pieces you used to mount the lightsaber to the walll. I've been looking for a way to do that for months.

Very inventive method of display as well the pommel idea that looks incredable, excellent work.

Ahhhh so *that* is the source of inspiration for these! Awesome render! Has it been built yet? I tried looking a while back for additional images of that saber (it's the same as the animated one in your sig, right?) and couldn't find it - did you post it here somewhere? Dude, that is a SWEET render!
