Disassembling a Vader battery pack

I need to know if it is possible to disassemble the battery pack so I can use a 9 volt to power my MR converted vader with a luxeon 3.

9V for a Lux3 will fry your board... why do you need 9V?

and even if you did use a 9 volt, the draw on it would be huge. it wouldnt last more than a half hour to an hour. of constant use. maybe a bit more.
