    Default 2.1 power jack dimensions.

im just doing some design work here and i was wondering if anybody knows the basic dimensions of the 2.1 mm power jack. i know the thread size. what i want to know is the thread length and the maximum diamter of the jack itself. i dont have a jack so this is why im asking.

I think I'm the only female I know that has a set of calipers.

    Dial calipers, not digital.

Yeah, but do you have a slide rule and use it?

I have one and used to use it in college. Now it is my shop dinosaur.

I think my old slide rule is in a cupboard here at my mom's house. I think I remember seeing it a couple years ago.

But I don't remember how to use it anymore, after 40 years or so.
