Money isn't an excuse it's a reality. If you don't got it you don't got it.
I wish everyone had the money to build a saber for this contest. I wish I had more money to do so things I wanted to.

Money sucks when you don't have it, and is AWWWWEsome when you do!

Yeah but NOT having money is SOMEthing...and something NOT good :'''-(((

Funny thing about being a 100% Light Side poor mendicant Jedi...it works much better in SW fiction where even though they personally had no possessions other than their lightsabers they always seemed to have an 'unlimited expense account' from the not-at-all-poor Jedi Order to draw from for their missions LOL

Darth Real Life gets in the way of building cool saber designs that are in my head much more often than I'd like...but I'm hoping I can find the $$$ to get something in for this.

Had a few questions about this, but there are no videos allowed in the contest. The Council thinks that pictures and a description are all that is necessary

If this is just still images then this should be a stunt contest. Otherwise I could claim that I have all kinds of bells and whistles. Time to start rendering...muah hahah.

But seriously even just to prove that the submission really does what is claimed, and then post still images to vote on. The only issues I could see with this is trying to be anonymous, yet convenient with youtube. So it's sending and receiving video files anonymously that must be the real issue.

Just take a picture of the internals before you install them.

As far as I'm concerned, how well a saber is wired up is going to be a factor in my voting. If you create a beautiful looking saber, but the insides are full of electrical tape and wads of hot glue, then it will lose points. That's just my opinion.

Yes, we want to see pics of the internals/electronics set up too, not just the hilt itself.

And obviously once the voting is closed and the winner(s) decided, people can (and should!) upload all the videos and pics of their sabers they want to.
    There's always a bigger fish.
