MR speaker to premium wiring question

Ok, I have done the reading and am still doing the reading so if I missed the answer to this some where pls just pop a link to that thread and I would appreciate it. Now that’s out of the way.

I am hooking up a Lux3 to the sound board that I removed from a 2005 MR anakin. My question is not with the led but the speaker. I am switching out the 3AA stock bat pack for the 4AA bat pack w/premium speaker.

I believe I read some where that the MR speaker is a 1/8w while the premium speaker is a 1w (may have this back ward iv been doing a lot of reading over the past few days.) so if I wire like the following is there any thing I need to put in the circuit still like resisters. I don’t want to blow the speaker or dmg the board.

From board to Battery w/speaker (the 3 wires leaving the board to the 3 on the 4aa bat combo)
Neg speaker to Neg speaker
Neg Battery to Neg Battery
Positive Bat/spkr to Positive Bat/spkr

No resistors needed, you won't blow the premium speaker.

There's also no polarity to the solder pads.
