    OH, you already ordered. The machining fee is because you asked for the piece to be powdercoated and then have some PC removed to show the metal underneath.

    They are all the same part, just with a specification for the switch hole style, PC work, and the part itself.

    oh i think i get it...So basically hilt 3 is hilt 1 with machine grooves?

    im really sorry im slow. im used to building sabers with wood.

    The pc charge for machining the hilt is included in the $17.50 for the price of the pc....Tim only charges $5.00 extra to re-machine the hilt after pc'ing is done, and pc'ing a part is $12.00.

    The extra $7 is from taking a plain MHS hilt piece (Shilt1) and machining it into a hilt 3, with the "S" meaning standard switch hole.
