The manual shows the switch wires themselves, but not the switch leads. I just want it to turn on and off with the switch. It dosen't show where to place the pos and neg leads themselves.

I made one out of a 2.1 mm headphone male jack. But, seeing that its metal, would it work or short anything out?

How do you hollow out the solid aluminium cylinders? With a lathe? Milling machine? Any info would be great!
