I get that, In your example it looks like you're using a Rebel Red (3.7-2.3) / 0.7 = 2ohm (Resistor For Rebel Red @ 700mA)
I was wondering if it were possible to forgo the 2 ohm resistor...
Is a resistor even necessary if you're straight up using only drive parameters?

^ Will fit inside a ribbed section. No pack wiring needed.
However, I don't think it'd be a good idea to try and...
That is absolutely amazing, as much as I can't STAND that blade holder (even In ToR I hate it), you did it justice.
I'm defiantly convinced, I have to try out that etching.
I personally like the trans white stock over the clear blade stock (thin walled)

The top one is the Trans white blade, bottom one...
That anodizing job is slick, and that modified pommel looks awesome too.
Blades from that german website were starting to be sold ~2009. If I recall correctly, some of the blades were Ultrasabers Ultra Edge and blade stock purchased here, just with the film in them. There...
Since your list doesn't mention any kind of battery pack, and people keep recommending the puck instead of a resistor, you should know that you will need at least 5v to even use a puck. You can use a...
Got any pictures? If it's flush with the top of the drilled hole (nothing inside where the blade goes) depending on the blade holder, would it be possible to rotate your shroud to cover up that bad...
That's pretty cheap for a an entire fully functional stunt saber.
FX lightsabers can be problematic after a few years (or days) of use. LED's in the string can go out, I have an Anakin 2005...
Doesn't phil already have a account in this forum?
Yes it would, but why take up extra space if you don't have to inside your hilt?
I'd much rather use a single 18650, and with the .09mA super deep sleep mode it has, you could have up to 39 months...
Cool. I just sent him a message, and resized/added a couple pics.
The one's I've used look like this

Just wondering if they would be...
I can't wait to get some of these, I don't really personally need all the extras the PC has to offer, and I'd like to use a single switch in my builds. I've been geeking over this thing since I heard...
I think he's just using loc-tite on the salvaged speaker grille into the blade holder. I did nearly the same thing for a saber I had (old style blade holder 12/ a LOT of filing on MR Rots Anakin...
Since you are the wizard at LED strings... How about making the Deathscythe's beam scythe.....
I've recently upgraded a couple of resistor driven sabers from lux rebel/III/P4 to LedEngin 5 watts, with a internal wiring design where you can swap resistors and LED modules to overdrive on the...
Try posting some pictures of your wiring
you could take a AA battery, hold a couple of wires on the battery ends, and touch each prong, to figure it out
The wiring charts are kinda outdated, I'd stick with the info on the P4's description page.
The 3.3ohm will give you 700ma @ 4.1v with a 6v battery pack
The 2.2ohm will give you 1000ma @ 4.1 with...
Awesome, thanks that's just what I was wondering. I think I'll keep the P4 blues in then, and upgrade the rest
Just wondering what the general saber builders think about 5 watt LedEngin stars. I didn't seem to find too much info here about them, the LedEngin thread is pretty much geared to the multi-die 10...
Sleeve material dimensions
1.574" OD
1.458" ID
.058" wall thickness
Pretty much if you just online search for an aluminum tube/pipe with an inner diameter slightly over 1.575, and around .05...
