i'm using a royal blue K2... won't more batteries just provide more life, since i'm using pucks?
hey guys
i just wanted to quickly review: if i feed an led more voltage than the voltage forward, is that ok as long as i'm limiting the current? (i'm using buckpucks)
in this case: 6 AA...
ok, that's what i thought :) how about the blade straightness and such though?
hey guys
so i just got my big package from Tim, woo [:
not going to lie, the first thing i thought was "geez, whoever wrote my address has girly writing..." and then saw that Tim and his wife...
wouldn't you only get like 1 hour of runtime with a lux V on that li-ion pack? it only has 800 mah o_O
I think Zecks meant carsunum. or glitterstim :P or ryll, even
welcome to the forums [:
here's a thread that's from the LED wiring discussion forum:

search harder, you must!
hmm... is that a latching or momentary switch?
sweet :) that sounds good.
i also just thought of maybe dryer sheets... they have an anti-static chemical, right?
i suppose there's no way to perhaps "ground" the polyp to eliminate the static, right? though now that i think about it, maybe a fine spritz of water?
i think it's too easy... i was playing the demo at a friend's house, and while the note charts are harder than in guitar hero 2, they've made it ridiculously easy to hit the notes, particularly...
hmm, ok! that helps a lot. i was actually thinking, yea, that ground should be going back to the battery ground... but i didn't want to change the picture after uploading it :P and yea, i left out...
line up the switch? you mean to get like a symmetric look, right? that's assuming you want a symmetric look :P i think i'm going to go by how the saber is positioned when hanging off the clip. maybe...
here's what i thought it would look like:

so the buckpucks are in parallel, hooked up to the LED and pack, and there's a switch...
hmm, alright...
i just realized something else... if i use a covertec knob and use the screw recommended, do i need to tap a hole or just drill one? it's going to be in a sink tube so there's not...
sweet deal, thanks for the input :) i will look into that
For those of you out there with D-rings on your saber... what do you use to hang it from your belt?
I am going to use a D-ring on my saber for accurateness, but I'm debating making a little space...
Hey everyone,
I just had a couple questions that need clarification, after reading the guides and such (just want to be sure, of course).
If I use a royal blue K2 and somehow procure a MR sound...
is Tim planning on stocking the bigger ones?
there is also a somewhat practical/thematic reason Jedi wear it and cross draw:
when a padawan was following their master, they would follow behind with the master infront and to the right, and...
very nice :)
what kind of fabric did you make the tunic out of, out of curiousity? i've been looking around and havn't found anything that satisfies me yet.

blue steel right there ;)
Nova, I think maybe your question needs to be reworded... I mean, you're asking for people's opinions and then telling them they missed the point? By your first post, you're ranking the parts in the...
Not at all :) Thank you for the link! I did a search but never came up with this topic.
Anyone out there experienced with graflex conversions, what type of LED do you normally use for the classic ANH/ESB Luke colour?
