Those are the best sabers.
Blacklights are essentially UV purple in the light wave spectrum. You would need a UV led, but we typically don't use these, as UV light isnt really all that healthy to be around. I can't say how...
Those tris are definitely a step up. Very happy to see you decided to upgrade, although I am bummed the FoC isn't working. It makes such a difference. You made sure you bridged the pads and used the...
Neither can we. We like pics, especially when it falls into a kids hands. Nothing takes you back like seeing their faces light up in awe.
Great build. Solid choice of fonts (I especially like the Kotor font) and a very Solid design keeping in the tradition of used and functional I so especially love from Star Wars. I always really...
The OP has a vintage 2 cell graflex listed. Tim sold replicas in the past, but the MHS builder is your friend if you want to know how to build one using available parts.
My guess is a BH 14 with the bottom two discs turned down?
Very original and VERY intimidating. Even without sound, this saber is exquisite. You hit this one out of the park, Mark.
If you do an ESB graflex, you could drill holes in the screws that secure the t-track grips. That would help as well.
Give it a couple weeks. Tim restocks all his items, eventually. In demand ones like the batteries will be back soon.
I wouldn't use either for the Nano, personally. Nimh don't have a lot of life in them, and Alkalines are even worse. You would need extra wiring and resistors to get the NB to perform optimally with...
Welcome to the forums. You will need:
A pommel style 3 v2, and your choice of pommel insert.
A 3" double female extension
A ribbed/choke combo
A Blade Holder style 5.
Not for your FoC, no. The Dynaohms are only made for an output of 20mah... you will want to stick with yor original resistor, or see if there is a local radioshack in your area.
Don't forget to bridge the top two positive terminalon your power extender, otherwise you will not have working foc.
With a NB, I see no reason why you can't fit your electronics in this saber. If you build a chassis out of the parts Tim sells, you should be able to get the battery pack, board, and speaker in the...
Curious, can you remove the pommel and pop out the speaker? If you have it facing the end, you could get to the SD card with some needle-nose pliers.
Otherwise, LM is a great font for a green...
Glad to hear it is working! Cant wait for the vid!
You will need to take out the sd card. Make sure you follow the youtube video madcow made.
The 2 watt speaker is really great for some fonts, but you lose some range on the higher end of the spectrum, so details on some fonts can be lost.
I really like the Imperial Knight soundfont by...
You would rather build a new saber than upgrade an existing one...?
You sir, have too much disposable income. Lol.
I have been waiting for this one. I am very pleased to see it finished. As usual, it is a clean and quality build. I think you would be happier with a Tri, but you can always upgrade later. The hard...
It will be. Wait til those lights come on for the first time. Best feeling in the world.
Bummer dude. Still, that's what files are for.
Fun hobby, huh?
That is coming along beautifully. It is amazing what a few simple materials can do.
Can we get a pick of the board's wiring?
