Perdition's Flame
My first saber was tentatively called Dirty Old Republic (DOR), and you can read about it here. I spent a lot of time tinkering with DOR, but I was never completely satisfied...
Excellent work. This piece would be a fine addition to any collection.
I'm very impressed by the work you did on this hilt. I think the dremeling gives some great texture to the grip, and is a very convincing illusion of wood. I think that beads will be a nice touch...
Excellent work. Looks like you had as much fun as I did with the weathering! I never had the courage to take a hammer to my hilt, though it can produce such nice effects.
After failing to install...
I bought one of these speakers, but there's no way it fits inside the Gladius. It's at least 1mm too wide in diameter. Is there something special you did to fit it in? :(
Good to know, thanks! Do you think that the MHS Speaker and Battery Holder would be too much for the hilt? I never measured the ID of the hilt with any calipers, but I think that 1.25" may be too...
Did you have any trouble fitting a speaker in the hilt? What kind did you use?
Excellent work on the button. I was really tempted to get the Gladius with the sound already installed (is that what you did? I see that you have the SF pommel vent installed), but I shied away...
I'm still waiting for my speaker to come in *grumble grumble*, so I spent some more time playing with inks and painting the new activator switch:

Thanks everyone for your compliments. It's been a lot of fun tinkering with this saber and making it uniquely mine. While I wait for my 23mm speaker to come in from overseas (the Saberforge hilts...
If you mean the leather grip, that wasn't my doing. Saberforge sells the Gladius sabers like that. However, from what I can tell, it was wrapped top to bottom with some kind of glue. After breaking...
Here are a few more shots. I replaced the default set screws with some blackened button top screws that I cut to fit, and I weathered down the leather grip. You'll also see a better view of the Razor...
Yeah I felt the same way for a while. But I made a deal to purchase one directly from SF that was cheaper than the eBay auctions, and my budget was tight. It took a while to get (maybe a couple of...
[This is a repost from fx-sabers for those that don't hang out there... Just want to share the fun I've been having!]
Greetings saberfolk! I recently started my journey into the world of custom...
I just started collecting lightsabers (on a shoestring budget). I have yet to purchase a Sith saber, but when I do, I have a feeling it will be one of your creations. I really dig the work you've put...
