the pcb should prevent that, as long as you're charging from the pcb pads, and not the battery terminals directly. Regular old charged carbon Li-Ion is pretty stable. It's the Li-Fe (iron sulfide)...
candy (ˈkændɪ)

Most Li-Ion batteries are designed to be charged at or around 5v for that exact reason. USB has set a ubiquitous standard for low power consumer electronics, and because of that almost ANYTHING can...
now I'm totally distracted trying to figure out which restaurant that is... :P

isopropyl alcohol has nothing to do with acetone, but it should work just as well. the point is using a solvent to get rid of oil (fingerprints) and any leftover soap.
hot glue and silicone around a PC.... *shudder*
Nice to see a completely scratch built saber though. I know what it's like working with whatever resources you have.
I'm not sure I'll ever waste the money on a Nikkon. I buy Sony.

All of the hasbros are similar enough in design, that if you can figure out why each of the pieces of the parts of a 2010 diagram are wired the way they are, you can pretty well fill in the blanks...
yup. Exactly the same as the rest, the only exception being that your LEDs are mounted directly through the 90 degree board, instead of having wire leads.
You'll have to use a meter to identify...

It would be a big mistake to assume by appearances that the speaker in the pic is the same quality as the premiums in the store.
You can't tell from that image what the voice coil looks like, what...
That actually looks fantastic. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out for you.
Now we just need a Facebook-"like" or a google "+1" button for posts we like/agree with....

the wattage is the maximum amount of power the resistor can handle, before burning up. If you're using a 3W+ LED, then you should really be using a 5W resistor.
I see someone rapidly on their way to a mod warning. We don't usually do handouts here, and ask that you try to find your own answers, or at least ask well formed and informed questions.
