Someone on Youtube cut open a 'Kyber crystal' from Disneyland and it uses an RFID chip to tell the Savi sabers and the holocrons what blade colour or message to use.
Wow really brings back the old EU comics memories when art was indeed "inconsistent" but very interestingly different from the OT. Great job picking an assemblage of design cues and details that...
Niiice! I'm especially liking the very authentic looking deep relic weathering. I love sabers with a 'history' and that chemical weathering makes it appear like maybe it had been slowwwly dissolving...
The present Pommel style 1 and 2 actually came out after several of the MPS pommels - the original first MHS versions around 2005 or so were solid with no holes at all but similar in shape to MPS...
The TCSS store LED Calculator can help you with that: https://www.thecustomsabershop.com/LedCalc.aspx
I've found that some of my early TCSS MHS parts from before the thread length change several years ago don't always fit quite as smoothly with the newer ones (they work perfectly within their own...
MHS sleeve material in brass or copper please would be awesome...as would be switch boxes in copper...heck, more copper and brass parts generally would be great!
I think you've really raised the bar with this masterpiece - heck, you sent it into Orbit! ;)
BRAVO! to the tenth power
That is beautifully weathered and great attention to detail...Congratulations!
No Jediseth, the FX-S saber was the FX-Sabers "Alliance" hilt run years ago and wasn't part of a contest - the K3GR sabers and the associated contest were produced in extremely limited numbers for an...

26650 batteries (with Cdn option please)...and maybe an extended version of MHS speaker mount v4 with space to fit a 26650 as well as the speaker and threaded holes at the other end like v4 has so it...
Tom is right about the resistors and also they help prevent certain issues that can sometimes happen with soundboards so even if you can get away with using drive parameters they're still a good idea...
I've had work done where Strydur was happy to do highly specific drilling and aligning pieces the exact way I wanted [Thanks Tim] but for obvious reasons that can only be done if you order all the...
I assume you already have appropriate small gauge wire and wire strippers, solder and soldering iron [ESD safe highly recommended] and heatshrink?
If you intend at some point to cosplay or wear...
It looked great before but the update looks even better imo. BRAVO!
Well then compliments to your wife on a job well done - that's a nice looking wrap on a really good looking hilt.
Yes one should always take with a grain of salt comments from anyone including someone who has been in this for over a dozen years and remembers when both this shop and that one began...or better yet...
Thanks for correcting my misunderstanding...the Sun Gold really does 'blend' nicely with brass parts so that is good to know. :)
Be aware that with other companies than TCSS that claim MHS compatibility their threading may be 'sort of' compatible but that doesnt mean their tolerances are always as correct as TCSS made genuine...
The etched parts are also in Sun Gold? Wow those seem much nicer than the unetched part imo...maybe sun gold looks best with a little 'detail'/texture added? I can see how that could be real...
Nice job - looks like a Grey Jedi maybe?
Very innovative! I've always identified with the Sentinel way and amber is my favourite LED colour so a bronze Jedi Sentinel saber is something I was going to love anyway but your highly original...
