Your 4AAA battery pack will be just fine to power the neutrino. Makes sure you're putting more then 2.6 volts or less the 9 volts into the board. You're 4AAA puts out 6v.

Looks like you used somthing different then the PVC sled on the most recent pics. What did you use this time to secure the board / speaker?

Powder coating would work like a resist. It should even resist the process better then paint. Although personally I have never tried it, it would be an interesting experiment.

Too late for me to Change it now. Tried booting it without the speaker plugged in & same issue with it not booting up fully. I had assumed the FVolt of the speaker pad...

I have not tried stripping the board yet. It starts for 3 seconds w/out sound then shuts off. The blade still lights up w/ shimmer effect still during that 3 seconds
