Using 2 data wires on the blade side, with one of the data wires resistored. That worked for me. One for each pad. With one data wire for the hilt side.

Have you seen a tiny bubble on any of the parts on the board. I ran into this same problem, Just boot sound, and nothing else. I found a small bubble on the CPU, telling me it was fried, or something...

Hi guys, I was tinning the two smaller pads today, then I put too much on one of them. They bridged. So I tried using the desolder braid on them to try again, but the braid just sticks to the solder...
