Um, seriously? The thread for this is 3 down from yours... Search, maybe?
Is it wrong that I can't tell which one is which?
It does kind of look like the hilt is slightly bowed. I blame it on the camera.
Ditto. I say green goes best.
They're actually strapped to either side of his chest, in front. Looks quite awesome!

Hahahaha awesome!
You could always just buy some simple boots and embellish them... Add buckles, ridges, etc.
My "shop" (read, corner of the 1-car garage and a dremel) has gotten quite cold as well. I spend a total of 20 minutes in there this evening and I'm just now beginning to feel my fingers again......
Couldn't say about wiring, but a bit of acrylic would do you for the effect. You could either get a sheet of acrylic and heat/bend it to your will, or you could even probably find an acrylic tube and...
Very nice. I like the simplicity of it!
Also not trivia, but I built a test pc at work and named it TK421. Nobody got it. :(

Some of the more seasoned members can feel free to correct me on this, but one quick look at the store tells me that Tim is NOT set up to electroplate anything.
There's your answer. Now...
Wow, you guys like it? I've kinda depressed myself about it.. Then again, the artist is their own worst critic, eh?
I am kinda stuck on how to fashion the ears and the grips though... Anyone hve...
Hey all,
Working on a project for a friend of mine. He wanted as close as I could get to a Luke ROTJ saber. Here's what I've come up with for the hilt:
Pommel style 3
4 inch double female...
Well folks, it was inevitable. Many people have made their SK-inspired sabers, or even "as close as can be with variable dimensions" replicas.
Here's mine (so far, anyway...)
