Nope they're easy. There's four points pins on the bottom, and you only need two. Just make sure you use two that aren't connected when the switch is open. The pins you use should only be connected...

Thanks Hapki!
Thanks! Yeah, I liked that the trim ring brought the neck back up to the diameter of the thick piece lower on the hilt. It seemed to help blend the shroud in a little, as well.
Thanks! The chassis is by a designer on Shapeways. His designs are listed under ShtokCustomWorks or something like that. I don't want to put a link in the forums here since this is part of a store.
I'm kinda in love with the smoke chrome. Also, I'm pretty sure I had the smoke chrome parts sandblasted before they were powdercoated. I'm pretty sure the smoke chrome is slightly transparent.
Thanks!
Yeah for sure send them an email describing what you want. That's a pretty standard practice for custom work like that.
Thanks! I don't want to link directly to the chassis, because it's technically another store. The link in my OP will take you to the main page of the Shapeways designer who designed it. You can find...
Thanks! That's just the lighting. I cut the shroud from the shroud material in the shop, so it's a consistent diameter. You're right that it does look that way though. I never would have noticed it...
Thanks! I can't take too much credit for the design, but I like it too ;)
Thanks Greenie!
Thanks for your kind words, friend!
Thanks! The recharge port is down by the pommel. There's a small black kill key in it that was printed so I can rotate it to disable the saber. Unfortunately, it's inaccessible unless the lower...
I've had this done for a little while, and I'm just now getting around to posting it. I've always loved Rob's Tool of Justice saber, and you're going to see some similarities that I put into this...
Thanks! They did a really good job. Now I just need to find time to install it...
Got some custom lathe work and powder coating done. Great job, whoever did the work on this. Everything looks great.
Colors are Copper Vein (ribbed extension and pommel) and Smoke Chrome (small...
Powder coating is available in the services section of the shop. The powder coating in the builder is incredibly outdated and doesn't include MANY/MOST of the available colors.
Correct.
I see. I don't know what your hilt restrictions are, but you're probably going to want to adjust the design of your hilt internals to accommodate a larger battery.
Even if you find a 10A 18500...
You'll want to get the 10A or 15A 18650 from the store. The standard ones can't draw enough current (in general) for a fully lit Neopixel blade.
If you use an NB or a Prizm (both 3.7v), you'll have to wire the two greens in parallel, so you'll have less run time. If you use a CF (7.4v), you can wire them in series, so you won't notice a...
I'd still try a faster SD card to see what happens.
Ok, another question: did you remember to reformat the SD card before moving all of the sounds over to it?
Does this occur on all sound banks? Just asking to make sure it's not the boot sound that is being used.
Probably more helpful discussion: are you using the SD card that came with the soundboard?...
The TRA forums will probably be your best bet. FX Sabers is also an option, but traffic there seems to be waning.
