Very nice effects to look like metal.
Can I ask how tough the paint finish is ( ie. will it hold upto wear and tear ).
D.
Love the chassis.
Cool saber
Thanks guys.
WOW.....just WOW
Hi guys. I realise that this will no doubt be a 'dumb' question, but how do you wire a Kill key plug into your circuit ( any diagrams )?
I have 4 AAA's wired to a Novasound 3.0 board.
Thanks...
Cheers buddy:cool:
OK I'm a little bit closer to completing the Acolyte. The thighs and calves are done and I've tweaked a few other bits too;

Nice work Martin, bring it along to the next troop we're both at. We can compare sabers ( hmmm, that sounds a little dodgy LOL )
I love the weathering on this saber. Very cool.
I've done a TOR Sith Acolyte saber and would love to have it weathered to this standard
Superb work on the acid etching.
I'm a Design Tech ( wood and metalwork ) teacher, so I'm amazed at the standard of the metal parts you are turning out considering you said you had no previous...
Great leatherwork. Cool saber.
Details - superb
Weathering - superb.
Just SUPERB..!!!
I'm gonna go with the 'knocking and scuffing' approach, then rubbing a little watered down acyrlic paint into the 'damage' to similate grime.
Thanks for the imput folks.
Thanks guys.
I should have the thigh and calf armour sorted this weekend, so I'll post another pic.
Superb weathering.
Deffinately a Jedi hilt :)
Cool, very cool.

Again, the blade looks pink in the pic, but is a...
Still quite a bit of armour to do yet Ty. The top half is almost complete ( elbows and finger armour to do ) and the legs are still to finish and paint.
Will take a pic with the saber later on.

Here's a sneak peek at my latest costume, my TOR Sith Acolyte.

It's not finished yet. The boots, butt plate, elbows...
Okay guys......so weathering. I totally agree that this would look 'killer' with a more weathered look ( plus I reckon the Sith Acolytes would have battered sabers ).
I don't really want to...
Totally awesome..!!!1
Cool.
At first glance I wasn't sure about the colour scheme, but i**** grown on me.
I like the ceramic look.
I may try another bunch of pics at different angles and see if I can capture a truer colour image.
