I wonder if the threading is off on one of the parts... I've never had MHS pieces sit at an offset when screwed together. Is the offset visible?

Could I use the fdrive parameter in the config.txt to test this out rather than buying a bunch of higher value resistors until I get one I like? If I under-drive the LED using fdrive, I'll get a...
Your thought makes sense. I'll have to give it a try.
I wouldn't have thought, though, with as bright as the 2 blues are that they could be washed out so completely like that.
Hi, I've got my NBv3 all wired up with my BBW tri-cree LED and everything works exactly as expected except the FOC. It's supposed to flash white, which it does, but I was under the impression the...
Awesome, thanks!
Does anyone know what the ID of the female threaded area of MHS extensions is?
I'd like to connect 2 double female extensions with a brass pipe that slides into the 2 pieces but the ID is slightly...
We just had an Alamo Drafthouse Cinema built in my area and it's specifically designed to combat theater shenanigans. They have a zero tolerance policy on noise and cell phone use. They even play...
I never did figure out how to use that darn thing... I'm sure Madcow's got a video out there for it. I'll have to track it down.
I've always just glued in the insert in the past. I'm guessing the C-clip from the shop is a better solution then?
I'm curious how people secure MPS Insert 6 to the pommel, screw in the recharge port, and then screw the pommel onto the main body without twisting up the wires on the recharge port. Then, of course,...
You usually want as small of an angle as you can get. With a wider angle, you get more flare at the base and less brightness at the tip of the saber. There are people who prefer to have a little of...
Using the V4 Flat heatsink (http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-Heat-Sink-V4-Flat-Style-P841.aspx) instead of the V3 will give you a little more space but I agree with everyone else. You'll need to...
You can, actually, attach a blade holder to a sink tube using the MHS to sink tube adapter: http://www.thecustomsabershop.com/MHS-to-15-sink-tube-adapter-P162.aspx
It'd be nice to see a small (maybe 2"), ribbed extension similar to the middle section of Mace Windu's saber.

Not sure how true it is, but I was told the Rebels are slowly being phased out so you're likely not going to see more tri-rebel options.
It's also worth checking out this thread: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?5737-Thick-Walled-Blade-Comparison-Pictures
It's an old one but does a good job comparing different...
I think what he's saying is that running the red and royal blue dies at 350ma is under powering them. You can run those up to 1000ma. 350ma is the bare minimum.
How did you do all those intricate pins and rods? Are they just re-purposed hardware parts?
How did you do those awesome pins along the pommel, emitter, and inside the crystal chamber? Are those hardware parts or did you custom machine them?
I'd wait to hear from others to be sure, but I believe this is the Corbin film as it mentions the core illusion that is the trademark of the Corbin film:...
That's pretty amazing, right there...

Nice!
I haven't decided. I don't have a concrete design in mind. I'm just in the imagining possibilities stage.
I'm thinking about an idea for a future saber where a crystal chamber is covered by an overlay piece that is held on using small rare earth magnets. That way there'd be no need for a complicated...
You should be able to find them on their associated product page.
