Very well done! I really like how you have incorporate design ques from some well known hilts yet still make it your own.

Perfect for Crystal Chamber work!

I have used current sense resistors for my builds without any issue. As long as they meet the requirements of your build i.e. power rating, size, resistance.

For MHS internal diameter builds 3.5" to 5" is typically all I use. Of course you may need more if you are using an longer battery.

I'm not familiar with MicroMark brand but it looks a lot like what is offered by LittleMachineShop (which is descent). The lathes from Harbor Freight are complete junk despite having same or similar...
It does not matter which side of the LED the resistor is in the circuit.

Looks great!

Nicely done, excellent work.
Can we expect a video showing this off? (Please)

Welcome!
There are quite a few saber enthusiast in Texas. I'm in Austin.

Looks great!

Outstanding work. The level of detail and use of layering really makes this saber.
Best I've seen in awhile.

I like it.

Wiring is likely going to give you the most trouble with a cramfu design. Wires rarely follow where you want as they tend to "spring".

This is exactly what you need for making crystal chambers and other small parts. Watchmakers / Clockmakers really like these sized machines.

Flat across the hole is best overall. Flat offers many advantages over putting wire through the hole.

Rub it down with a green or red ScotchBright pad. Don't apply to much force but just give it a light sanding.

Very nice.

Nice build.
Use a milling machine. :)
Wonderfully done!

Keep in mind that a single cell 3.7v battery can produce 4v to 4.1v volts when it is fully charged. LEDs are current devices, which means the voltage determines how much current they draw. A small...
This is possible, just use the appropriate sized resistors for your LEDs to ensure you don't draw more than the allowed current for the LEDs and the soundboard.

Yes. This is done the same way as you wire the FoC LED. Don't forget your resistor!

Very nice!

Keep in mind that it doesn't take much "rumbling" to have a great effect for your saber. Subtle is the key here IMO. Placement of the vibration motor is also important to prevent false swings. I...
