Wow, a win right out of the gate!
Very nice design and execution, inside and out. What kind of things have you made prior to this? You had to have gotten practice on something.
You're using all hand tools? Impressive. Especially with how fast it's apparently going.
You're doing your own entry, right? ;)
Outstanding. Grab a Dremel and go to town!
That'll be useful if we get scanned into the Tron universe.
My only request for the V5 so far is for it to continue to have through-hole barrels for as many of the pads as possible. Those help immensely.
I have three scratch-built hilts I've been looking at getting a start on, so I'll likely enter whichever of them I get done first.
Very nice innovation Arkm. Those are great looking plugs.
I'd think you could take the plug that's in the TCSS store, cut it down and mount one o these razors to the end for a similar effect.
Ah, I see. Curling the fingers around the poky bits works okay. I was wondering if that would be comfy enough.
Keep trying new things and learning from those around you DJ. You'll keep getting...
You sir, have some serious awesome right there. I look forward to what you share in the future.
Indeed. With a canvas like MHS parts, some amazing art can be achieved.
I always look forward to how you two make standardized parts into someone that's recognizably yours.
The hilt it self is certainly fine, but the accent LEDs just look uncomfortable to my eye. Is it more comfy to hold than it looks?
I'm curious why you went with these rather than the lower profile...
Wow dude. Just... Wow.
Getting one is a matter of information gathering and preparation.
I'm a relative newbie to the community, but I signed up for Erv's e-mail list, paid close attention to posts he made regarding...
Ah, groovy. I forgot to even check the tab. Thanks.
It's great to see these parts in the store.
I have a question though. Can we get the dimensions for the handle? Length and diameter would be helpful in planning out ideas.
Wow.
Congratulations on getting the thing made, but it's going to be quite the task to get switches and any accent LEDs wired through there. I hope you have some really long tweezers to work with.

Now that is cool. Thanks for sharing the tutorial.
Welcome to the board Clee-Vin. Let's save the Master title until after you know what you're doing and build a few dozen top-end sabres, okay?
Really top-end work Toukejin. It looks really comfortable to hold too.
Do you have ideas for the next one yet?
Just placed my first for this year last night. That awesome new switch box is just too nice to pass up.
No idea what I'm doing with it yet. I'll have to design something good enough for it.

Very cool! A quarterstaff for Tron. :D
I really like the look of the naginata style weapons too. The short blade looks great as they're moved about.
Excellent tutorial Jay. This is about how I pictured the process from all the text descriptions I've read, but a photo tutorial helps to make sure the process is completely clear before trying it.

Excellent... He understands that the weapon must be properly consecrated to reach its full potential. ;)
