What is the best type and gauge of solder to use for the wiring of a saber? My Home Depot did not offer the right type at all...plus I have tried to get away with using a 7 dollar soldering...

If I have a fully charged battery can anyone else tell me their thoughts on why a purple LED would be shining red? It's wired to a nano biscotti...could it be that I need a higher volt battery..?

Here is my other issue...the amount of space I have inside the hilt...would 3 or 4 set screws fix this....or any other thoughts? Craft foam wrapped around? Electrical tape wrapped around the ends?...

Just picked up this all in one chassis from goth...battery fits great...but because of the solder joints on the speaker I got to cut a notch out...also for the recharge port...the hole isn't big...

Question about the shapeway chassis....for the speaker...did you need the speaker mount from tcss or just the premium speaker only?

On the harness....the blue and white is for the main LED...is the white wire positive?

Is it true FoC will only work with a tri-Cree LED...and if I have a different LED to just leave the orange wire alone?

Ahhh...I see...you need a specific LED for that...or else it goes unused...

No...i wanted a module and they were sold out so I had to find one somewhere else. My next build will have a purple blade. Do you know if the luxeon rebel module ever comes in purple?
