I myself did a little lurking (and was into more Tron related stuff) but now I am back and ready to build my first saber.....
So far there are way too many choices and ideas that I have.

This design is amazing. The whole thing seems to flow into the next piece without being gaudy or an afterthought.

I can only imagine how cramped the guts of this thing are. The reverse sound is new to me. I will dig around the threads to see what that is all about. I am still trying to gather what...

Very cool indeed. I really dig the "fullness" of how the blade looks.
It looks like it really could cut though a bulkhead in no time!

Plus, what I really like about it is that it actually looks...

But as a noob I have to say that the rubber chicken lightsaber ROCKS!
I can just imagine Darth's infamous quote now..... "You have no idea of the power of the KFC".....

So THAT is what they mean by the "power of the dark side"..... (Lame I know but I could not resist)

Even with this there is still a TON of things to really think about before building a saber. I am still a little overwhelmed with all the things you can do to customize one.
