Worth a fun 2 minutes although I wish he spell checked.
I'm Silver and Shadow Jedi.

I quite like it.
I like the bit about the full refund on the board.
It's interesting to know that Wal-Mart will honor exchanges on broken items as long as you have the receipt as many times as you wish. (For those...
I recall seeing something about this. I think it was that Tim can do things like this but prefers not to because of the complexity.
Not sure if I'm reading that wrong. So the switch in that picture ISN'T lighted at all?
I'll be looking, and if anyone sees this and will do that, please reply. The last person I talked to couldn't thread anything to fit MHS. This seems like a pretty simple thing to do.
I had to wait 'til over the weekend to get a reply about this part.
"1.5" OD tee 16 gauge aluminum is 1.37" ID "
This is too small inside to fit over a MHS piece, right?
What are you painting it with?
Something tell me 16 gauge is kind of flimsy, but I'm no expert so I'll have to do some research. Unfortunately I'm going to have to mail them and see what the ID is, because I guess they didn't...
Here's what I see.
Sairon gives you an option.
You mouth off and tell him to read.
He replies saying that it was simply an OPTION for a CUSTOM saber, and that he's sorry for sounding mouthy....
Unfortunately I'm having a hard time tracking down someone to custom this for me. I contacted Do-Clo and he sent me to AceRocket who hasn't replied. (Not sure if he just hasn't been around or isn't...
Spell-check much?
Custom machined T that matches the threading of a mhs part seems to be the better way to go, now that I think about it. Not sure if that's what you meant. Then I could forego even bothering with a...
Somehow it just isn't clicking in my mind. 1.25'' tube with a tee joint in the center, mhs parts over top of it. I get that, I'm just unsure of how to get that tee inside mhs parts. if you just slide...
Eastern: I'm not trying to replicate that hilt by any means, it was simply the only closeup of a tonfa that I could find. I agree with the planning and this is why I've set up the page!
In regards...
I'm simply starting this thread so that I can have a list of what I want/need for my saber. I was having a hard time getting every little part down on a notepad while still being sure it'd all work...
As far as I know the part about 'destroying the clash sensor' is pretty false, considering I've taken apart 4 yoda's recently. However, it is true that there is a clash or motion sensor on the led...
I've been working on a Tonfa style saber, and something like this seems perfect for it since you'll already have a pseudo gun handle.
Thank you very much.

I'm looking for a button that looks like that but is usable with a mrfx board. I've been looking...
I'm working on a project that involves some amount of 5mm leds, of different colors. Lets say 12 leds, 3 different colors, RGB. I'm working with a very small area, so I can only use 1 AAA battery or...
This is ten levels of cool.
Think this will work with a mrfx board wired through the led to get power on and off flicker and stuff?
I remember reading somewhere around here that you can use a momentary switch with the mrfx board, but you have to double press to turn it off, or something to that effect. Is this true?
I can't wait to see the finished product. I really love this saber.
