If I'm adding a recharge port to my build using 2 TrustFire 3.7V 3000mAh 18650 Protected Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries, will I need a PCB or do I just solder the together? Thank for any advice!

My plan is to revamp a staff for 3 buttons, however it would be a dedicated staff. 3 buttons a central for ignition and one on each end of the hilt for aux.
