What Amwolf said. The first two he didn't make and the third one (that you linked to) he did. That's the one he used all throughout Outcast and Academy. Those are probably my favorite Star Wars games...
That makes more sense. I could definitely see it work better as an offensive tool (locking and twisting opponents blade) as opposed to protecting the hands. I also think the intimidation fueling the...
They don't bother me but they do seem impractical. Even if the saber blades could slide during a clash, the emitters on the cross guard stick out an inch from the sides before the blade even begins....
Hey guys,
So I was wiring up a soundboard and I accidentally killed the speaker by over soldering it. I've got a new one on the way but in the meantime I'm rockin' this toy speaker/dixie cup...
I hooked up a speaker from a cheapy Hasbro toy and it worked. Guess I fried the speaker soldering it. Time to reorder. Wish I could just use this cheapy speaker in the meantime but it's too big....
The speaker never touched the battery to my knowledge but it did stick magnetically to a piece of metal.
I tried pressing the middle. It didn't make any sound. I resoldered the wires to the speaker and still no go. I heard that if you hold the soldering iron on the pad too long it can kill the speaker....
Hello. I'm wiring a nano V2. I got the prewired version so I thought I wouldn't be able to screw it up, but for some reason I'm not getting any sound. It lights the LED and has the shimmer and fade...
Thanks! I'll be wiring tonight so hopefully all goes well.
Hello again. I've finally found the time and budget to upgrade my stunt saber to a nano biscotte V2. The chip has changed since I last made my diagrams and I wanted to make sure I'm wiring it...
Thanks guys. I'll take out the buckpuck if it starts exhibiting odd behavior. This is just a temporary setup until I can get a Nano Biscotte anyway. :)
It seems to be working ok. Do you mean that it won't work once I add the recharge port?
Or will it mess something up in the long run if I leave the buckpuck on?
I have my basic saber working, but I wish to add a recharge port. All the diagrams I found are for hooking up to a soundboard. Is this diagram correct? Also will it work with the latching switch, or...
Thanks, that was exactly what I needed. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
Thanks!
As far as batteries go I think I may go with a Li Ion. I'm not real familiar with batteries though. What is the difference between a 3.7v 2600mAh and a 3.7v 1400mAh? What's the difference...
Hello, I am new to this hobby but am a long time admirer of the craft. I have decided to build my first saber. I have already ordered parts and they are on the way.
I have read a lot of stuff but...
