Wow! And I was underestimating the Mag light conversions.
Interesting, I think I'll add this to my third build.
The engraving is awesome! The polishing look just adds to look and makes it perfect.
I do want to get my hands on a US board, I must bide my time and exercise patience. I used 600 wet/dry sandpaper and moved tip to tip, I like that method cause it has that "energy beam" look...
Thanks for the tip Fender! I picked up a 36" roll from Micheal's today and I'm so using that technique.
It is sanded sink tube. You have to be sure not to get 20ga sink tube because the ID is too tight.
I want to, just been to lazy to dust and clean the table I cut the poly on :)
You keep that one handy for close encounters? Very nice, I imagine Yoda's younger, cooler brother would sport it.
I'm in love.
Way cool! I like the speaker under the emmiter.
It's finally done! New sound board, wiring harness, speaker, and I added the 2 wire quick connector from the store for the LED (soo much easier!).

Target's in the Denver area have them now too.
You are welcome. I don't live in WA anymore, that was about 6-7 years ago and now I live in Denver. I was searching for Sintra myself and at the time I didn't know anything about "forums" and the...
I used to live in Kirkland, and I happen to know that you have one of the best plastic companies in the country just north of you.
The store is TAP Plastics and they have everything....
Yes the swing sensor is connected to the two brown wires, at least for the Obi-Wan this is true.
Does anyone know if the different boards have different fonts?
I like it! Looks very strudy, like if the batteries died you could beat a gundark to death with it.
Impressive, most impressive.
Awesome saber! Weathering is great for a few reasons.
1. Looks authentic
2. I don't think a Sith would go around polishing and babying a saber
3. You never worry about scratching or heavy use...
Actually I found it was the recharge port. I did not wire the kill switch function so, when I hit the start button on my charger it was lights out.
If anybody saw my other post you would know that I fried the board while I was assembling this bad boy, and while cooking a second board on my sink tube economy saber I found the problem..... I did...
All I've seen at Toys R Us is the Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Vader so far.
Yes I do mean that the LEDs blink on clash. As for the board switch it is momentary, so I guess that I'm stuck with the blinking without going into more extensive modification. Oh well, not a bad...
So I picked up an Obi-Wan about a week ago and I finally sat down and cut it apart and started to go to work on this puppy.

That was crazy! I'd endure burns and scarring as well to save a CF, if I can ever get me hands on one.
So I ordered a new speaker and a few other items to make the Relic rebuild easier, thanks for the pick me ups everyone. I also picked up 2 ROTS Anakin FX sabers from Craigslist to harvest for more...
