I’ve done it, makes great leather wrapped sabers17733
So I know some people prefer not to resist their G, C, and B rebels when running a 3.7 battery,
Anyone have an opinion on the same with Crees? I'm wiring up the green and realized I'm out of...
Huge props on the double emitter! Super creative, and turned out very well!
absolutely gorgeous!
being a stunt saber, you should be ok for rearranging, but once a few more things are added, those JST connectors start to take up a lot of space fast!
Good luck on the build, and not a bad...
I've made over 20 PVC sabers now, and have never had issues with LEDs over heating the material.. i've been using schedule 40 no problems, and recently began using the cree LED's in them. 3/4 copper...
a little bit of electrical tape or aluminum tape to create a uniform gap all the way around the tube?
Love the incorporation of v2 parts
Stunning! Loving the shroud!
One is designed to fit the guarded switch, the other is designed the standard switch (both can be found in the shop under switches)
It just keeps getting better and better!
Dang, I missed that one... I watched ANH and ESB over and over again for at least a week watching the sabers carefully, missed that... I was Surprised by the placement of the clamp just after Luke...
the problem is you need a dif resistor for the 9v vs. the 18500 if memory serves me correctly...
For simplicity's sake, use a resistor... you can look up the drive parameter, but life is a lot easier if you just resist the LED
that depends, if you don't need to take the two parts apart at that joint, you can locktight them together and drill through the threads... It's what I do for one of my sabers and it works well for...
Looking Good!
Wrong links from PB though (the bottom option will show a preview on here instead of just linking to PB)
looking good!
(you may want to look into the positioning of the clamp though... only ANH filming prop had the clamp the the left of the bunny ears, promo for ANH and all of ESB had clamp to right)
I believe he means with inspired hilt... Just like there are different sports cars out there, but each sports car is unique, so it is with lightsabers... there are characteristics that lend a...
it's not exactly 1" just tok my calipers to mine, and it's 1.03 inches, my MHS is .98 inches...
so a wrap or two of thin aluminum tape gets a MHS like fit ;)
very well could be... any chance you have a 3 aa or aaa holder? most electronic stores i know have them, and are $2... easy way to test the theory
Nano needs a min. of 3.4v... those two duracell=3.0 might be your problem? also you should heat shrink those connections
the same as MHS works fine, wrap your blades with some aluminum tape where it goes into the emitter to help make a more secure fit and you'll be solid :)
both would work as they give you 6v... although the AA will give you more run time... You can also use the 7.4v rechargeable battery packs sold here in the store
you've got a great eye dude!
That's why I call everyone dude :)
Good call btw, you can always sell them at a later date, but can't get them back when you need them on the next build :)
