Some LED's have a rubber like substance, not unlike hot glue, that covers the die and acts like a lens aside from the focusing lens you put over it.
AFAIK, none of the Plecter boards are dual. I only have Nano, Prizm and Pico here, but from what ive read, none of them are.
Having a double sided PCB has little to do with how strong the connection is intended to be. Most double sided PCB's have dual circuit and need the double connection.
Why cant you solder through the holes?
Re-read the first sentence?
Post the pics here, im not disabling my Adblocker to view them, thanks.
Out of the Pico Crumble, Nano and Prizm, i like the Nano best.
I did this for a Yoda inspired saber for a 12yo. The lime green/lime green/white was bright enough at 600 that there was no need to drive it at 1023. I mean, still painfully bright with a blade plug...

Isnt that futile?
Yep .
Pop the center out and then come in from the backside with a step drill on a press, youll know when its free. Thats the easiest way, prying will just snap the plastic on the stator.
Thats not what he asked. He needs the insert dims, not steps on installing the RCP.
Use a step drill to hog it out?
You cant fit two of these in there?

Cool .
Are you using a metal wood cutting blade loaded backwards, or an actual fiber metal cutting blade?
Dude, thats flipping perfect...
That makes more sense lol, i was still mostly asleep when i read that yesterday and i could NOT make sense of it lol.
I would say a step drill would be better. A Forstner wouldnt cut metal and you would need to drill the whole hole with it as there is no way to center it. Harbor Freight has a fairly large duo that...
Yea, the Biscotte is a hardy board, so its almost always an errant solder issue. Glad you worked it out :)
Yea, the translation from French to English causes some issues sometimes.
V4 doesnt either? Or did you mean the V4 doesnt need PEx for FoC?
