any ideas on the thread pitch? they are smaller than 4-40
Can someone tell me what type of aluminum the D Ring retention "hub" is made of?
And what thread pitch the screws are?
And what metal is the actual D Ring?
I bought one of these and wish to...
Maybe drill an 1/8" hole and use epoxy, best of both worlds ;)
I'll have to add one to my shopping cart, see what works best.
I kind of figures there would have to be some trimming involved. I don't want to toast an AV switch if I go to far into the top.
I thought about that, the problem is that the screw head will probably cover the led. I was going for a back lit look.
I'm trying to recreate a Qui Gon red button using a standard 12mm LED AV and a red thumb screw

The question I have is. How far into the top of the AV switch...

is this accurate?
What size bit would I use if I wanted to press fit it?
use a V2 to V1 adapter and a glue a v4 speaker holder into an appropriate pommel with the proper ID.
Have you tried GOTH Customs on Shapeways? He has 20mm speaker holders and small diameter chassis that would be ideal. and most of his work are compatible with TCSS chassis disks and rods.

I think it's time to move on, the Quad LED set ups are the new Tri Cree of this time. I can't see how two dies off a Tri Cree will stand up to 12W+ power of the X4. I've seen some comparisons and...
Did you fully charge the battery?
Are you always so negative?
Not everyone wants FOC, cause face it. We are not in the movies, and that is all that the FOC set up does. Is gives you that bit of realism taken from the clash of...
LOL .. yes it does. Seeing that I was the one that created that particular diagram ;) :p
For some reason that wiring doesn't look right.
The PEX is correct, but. I was under the impression that after you attach the PEX to the NB, you run the 3 POS from the Tri cree in Parallel to the...
If you free hand it, make sure to use a sharp center punch to mark a hole. It will keep the drill bit from skipping around.
I use this, makes it so much easier ;) http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz
Keep in mind the DynaOhm actually have a IN and OUT on them .. go figure. :p
Heiland has a new hilt!? Here I thought they disappeared in the late '70s ;)
I have two Heiland hilts, both are 1.43" ID and you'd be able to put electronics in them with some work. I plan on...
Are you using a 7/8ths blade in a 1" blade holder? That may cause problems, I am no expert but could be something to look into. Are you using the 18 degree lens? Couple things to check
Umm ... it is available. When you ask for a switch hole to be bored out, ask to have it threaded as well ;) :p
DONE!
That did it, now my saber is complete.
Kitchii-Miigwitch (big thank you) to Jay-gon Jinn! And to the others as well that tried to guide my wayward saber.
So third hole from the left eh? Not sure why I didn't clue into that, I guess I can take it apart. One more time. Lol
