if you want a deeper or darker purple without using a parallel setup or resistor you could get one of those tri-rebels with a custom setup of Deep red and royal blue, third color would be what ever...

Well there is nothing wrong with the good'ol PC1.5 however the PC2.0 is a lot easier to solder plus the new features like FoC and the non mechanical sensors makes it an easy choice.

Ok i found what my problem was i set the current too high... when you go to high you can damage the led and for some strange reason y will look dimmer. I set the led current to 1250 and now it looks...

yes same resistor... i mean for FoC you could have a smaller resistor in therms of wattage, because its not constantly on.. but could potentially get hot/damaged over time...

play it safe and get...

For the FoC you will need a Pex (power extender board) and a 1 ohm 2 W resistor will do fine... your assumption is correct on the forward voltage, however it changes depending on the current you...
