Just want you to know Master Leximus, that I've sent in an application and my backstory and picture of costume and saber are already posted on the forums.
Edit: Sorry everyone, probably should've...
AHHH, finally I've finished my jedi costume and lightsaber... http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=24231968&albumID=2854339&imageID=62605022
Soon I'll add close...
I'm not quite sure I see a question here anywhere, but I'm guessing you'd like tips on putting together that shock trooper costume. My recomendation is to ues Jango Fett armor with an Imperial Gaurd...
Just had a look at that, pretty cool. I think I may want to integrate something like that into my orginal design, that way I'm not totally abandoning the original idea.
thanks, I was actually pondering on how to modify the jedi order logo to use as an emitter.
...and a slightly better design application in place of a free hand drawing scanned into MS paint.
I found that a simple SCA ring belt does the trick, especially for a pre-clone wars or KOTOR jedi.
mount your work in a vice and do a little bit at a time. if your hands become too shaky stop for a little while. I've always managed near perfection just by working in small increments. If that...
I wish I had the ability to use waterjet-fu or lazer-fu, however my dremel-fu should be sufficent enough, if not then I'll have a bunch of scrap metal lying around.
no they won't be that short, My mind is churning, trying to think of something else to add, it seems just a little to plain. Heck, it may just work better as an emitter shroud.
Just wanted to see what y'all think of this. I plan to use this desgin on my next saber. The blue dots around the bottom of the rebel symbol are to be 1/8" or 1/16" (haven't decided yet) holes to...
Anyone know if it would be possible to swap out the flash strobe on my kodak C713 for a lux 3 or seoul p4?
There is a reason my prof. pic is of me as a wookie, but it didn't even bend at the blade holder, it bent about half way up!
...
Yeah, but y'all know it's worth it!
Yup, you'll wind up like me when I converted my old viper defender EL. In fact, it still doesn't work right.
By the way, Gorilla Glue works wonders for attaching wires to things.
Maybe my mind is just in the gutter. But I predict that within a few years custom lightsaber building might go a little obscene.
Heck, I put mine full force against an oak tree only to have it bend...
the blade not the tree that is.
i am not a clone!!!
Unfortunately, I don't even own a DMM anymore. I'm currently using a 1.5v alkaline batt wired in line with a 5mm led to test circuits. But schematics and/or a developer would definitely help.
Or he could use a single trustfire which is rated for 3.7 volts.
that's definitely something to look into. does anyone know if i might be able to attach the wire elsewhere to achieve use of the switch?
i don't know, we'll have to wait a few hours to see. I took a brand new x-acto blade and attached a small strand of copper wire to the old trace and reattached the switch wire to that with some...
Good news, I finally got my US 2.1 back from ultra sabers. Bad news, while I was soldering the switch wires back onto the board my darned cat jumped up onto my shoulder and caused me to break off one...
