i could be wrong but someone mentioned somewhere that the newer bladebuilders sabers might use 16ohm speakers, so you might need an 8ohm resistor for the speaker aswell, incase you still planned on...

to eliminate the flash on clash you just splice a wire connected to the speaker negative to the gate control instead of using the boards led controller, you end up with a nice unstable kind of...

with a dip switch it is 3 switches each with their own on off positions, essentially i can turn each led on or off at will for colour mixing so to turn the led off totally i just need to switch all 3...
