Very nice saber for a first build, congratulations.
Well I can't say that I don't like this design and you know why? Because my last build is very similar -not to say identical- to this one.

Thank you FJK.
Does anyone has one on hand to confirm?
Hi,
Does anyone know how long is the screw on these?

Awesome Tut!
Just what I was looking for.
Hey Sunrider,
Due to limited space I'll be using Ultrafire 18500s that I have under hand, hope it will be enough juice.
I don't think I'll go // for FoC, in order to extend runtime (well I hope...
Hi there,
Just a quick question about FoC:
Let's say I'm running a RGBW with a 7.4V batt pack and a CF.
I have B+R in series as the main blade and W+G in series for FoC.
IIRC, @1000mA:

Thanks Tim.
This is a very interesting feature indeed.
Led heatsink, mom switches 20 & 21 and covertech wheel would be good additions too.
Also I think this is the right place to post this:
I noticed a few bugs in the builder; When you switch to...
Thanks a lot TR,
I'll have a look at that, next time I'll go to the hardware store.
Hey everyone,
As no one asked I guess a compression plug is something common in the US, but I've not been able to find something like that around my place (I live in france) or even on the web....
Thanks Guys,
I'll try to change my wiring and use another sensor to see what happens.
Yep, the batteries are in a holder but I'm sure the problem doesn't come from there because I don't move the holder. Nothing has been installed in the hilt yet. I just wanted to check that everything...
At first that's what I thought too, but it seems that both Vdd are connected by a "copper track" on the board so I assume they are the same.
I also tried to remove completely the LED and I had the...
Nothing fancy , just the regular wiring.
Right now it runs on 4 X 1.2V NiMH 2700 mAh that I have charged yesterday.
Do you think that's the reason?
Hi there.
I have a problem with my MR Anakin soundboard:
Everything seems to work correctly except that when the clash sensor is triggered, I've got an ignition sound and the led goes off then on...
Do you mean Erv's power extender?
That's a good idea. I'll keep that in mind.
Yes indeed, I was considering to wire it directly to the board, but I would prefer it not to have a "flat" behaviour.
I was also wondering, if the MR board has as a kind of flickering on the led...
Hi all,
I would like to know if anyone has ever tried to add a rumble motor to a MR sound board based saber?
What I would like to do is to have the motor working only during the clash effect. Any...
That's strange indeed. But I think it's because of the seller. Darth Lars had an explaination on that:
Ebay is still Ebay!
"In addition to its original U.S. Web site, eBay has established localized Web sites in thirty other countries (Germany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China,...
No, They are still available until september 14th...
Luis, I have to say that your daughter is the cutest Jedi I've ever seen. I hope she won't join the dark side (like her father?) Her costume is nice too.
Of course you can use 3V as it was running on 2 C batteries. I was just thinking of using rechargeables batteries. But what i meant, you must not use MORE than 3.6V if you don't want to damage the...
If you've got the one who runs on 2 C batteries, then you shouldn't use more than 3.6V (3 AA 1.2V rechargeable batteries ) if you don't want to burn the board.
Is that the one you're talking about?
