Okay, I tried it in just Luxeon III mode, and the same thing happens that does in Lux III Red/Amber.

If you're having trouble with the lens, and don't see any way around NOT gluing your lens to the holder. There is a type of CA glue (super glue) you can use on clear plastic. It's called Super-Gold+....
