Thanks guys. I didn't actually mean the "same wire." I meant a "Y" splice like Forgetful Jedi Knight said. I just couldn't think of what to call it. But yes, the same wire would be in Series.

Please forgive this question, but by Parallel do you mean wiring the Switch LED (+) on the same wire as the Main Led (+), with a resistor each for the Switch and Main LED?

Tim is right. The set screw after screwed in will sit flush with the surface of
the blade holder and is plenty to hold the blade in. Also, if the screw does
stick up at all, just take enough off...
