A lot of it comes down to the depth of the switch guts as much as the face diameter. :roll:

I can't see me actually building up any further sabers.
I do want to upgrade to a C.F at some point soon, but any further purchases on the saber front will be extra hilt sections and Led's to change...

Yeah I'm well chuffed with the saber thanx.
It seemed to come together nicely.
It's well balanced as the re-chargeable battery...

I have an illuminated vandal switch on my saber ;)
I went with the white-spot led instead of the ringed led type.
As said before the switch is a large unit and using a switch plate would be the way...

It took the power hike to bring the shimmer effect out in the Corbins V2 driver.

I had to have that style of choke, but it led to the hilt being a little long initially.
That's why I was sooo glad when the short option on the choke become available.

I let him know what I wanted from the electronics and he made it...

Here's a little update.

I've decided to keep the hilt a little simpler for now.
Extra machining etc can be done over time with custom parts to keep it looking fresh.
A couple of the sections...

That's something I didn't consider.
I guess it will have to be an allen head set screw into the thicker part of the emitter.
The metalwork in the thinner part has got to be 3mm or so hasn't it?...

Nothing too far from the classic look as i said before.

The sleeve and switch plate aren't quite to final scale yet until i get the final...
