Jay, where do you get the brass plumbing tubes at? I haven't been able to find them anywhere... :sad:
Can you remove the graflex style clamp and add a switch on the side of the box? Similar to the Anakin FX but do it as a pushbutton instead.
You can check eBay for a board, but your still most likely looking at paying a minimum of $25 for an FX board. So gutting a hasbro is still your best bang for you $$$.

I got my hands on one of these about a year ago. I didn't realize just how rare they are. Mine came without the blade or battery pack, but the EL driver is still in it and the guy I bought...

I swapped the diffuser tube from a damaged MR blade to a new poly-c tube. The diffuser had the tip still attached so I left it and slid it into the poly-c tube.
However, I forgot to glue it in....
