Check all of your solder points, maybe? I had a speaker once that I didn't realize was blown that would produce minimal sound and cut in and out. All I got. Hopefully one of the more experienced...
Hm. Well hey, it only comes to thirty something. If I can get it to last a year, I can deal with the eventual break down. Appreciate the input, man.
Thanks for the input everyone, I'll most likely win up just taking the chance lol
Any 3D printed parts I use I just get from shapeways. Anything on their materials?
Just the chassis lol
Now you guys have me second guessing with this back and forth...
These are amazing! Love the detail in all three but that multitool is unbelievable!!!
Whatever the etching process is, I love it. Especially on the pommel, it looks like stone and it just blows me away, man. Great saber.
Can also try to solder the second wire on the underside of the board. Should be a pad there, too.
I'm hoping to build my own simplified version of the Derelict in the near future. It's been one of my all time favorites for a while now. Decided to see if I could come up with a decent and...
LOVE the size of that thing. An absolute beast. Always had a fondness for two-handed sabers. Not usually a PVC fan but this is a beauty.
I have a NBv3 wired up with a B/B/W TriCree running on a 3.7v with .47ohm .5 W resistors on each LED. Not sure if that's pushing any limits but I haven't had any problems with it.
I'm pretty sure its my 30" blade in the pictures.
Thin-walled trans-white, wrapped with around 5' of clear gift wrap. Really evens out the blade!
Yeah that's with the CFv8 & CeX setup. But I made a saber for my brother with no sound card. just the rB and G LEDs ran together and the color is almost identical.
Second to last saber is absolutely gorgeous, I can't stop looking at it. That mid grip is phenomenal. Seriously. Beautiful saber.
Wow. Absolutely incredible. Love the CC!
As far as internals, like Phoenix said, you could have a custom chassis built. Mount and wire everything to the chassis, then slide it into the hilt and secure it with a set screw or two.

The shade of Cyan I have on my ascend with a R/G/rB Tri-Cree. Absolutely beautiful and definitely my favorite color profile since I got it wired up.
(sorry about the crappy quality,...
Did the same thing. Bought a R/rB/W Tri-Cree for my Ascend for a purple blade and the white wired to an auxiliary switch for a pseudo FoC effect. Blew the red and blue while testing. Rocked the white...
If you cant find a shop to make a chassis for you and need to use the MHS heatsink module your inside diameter will need to be a bit wider for about 5/8". I haven't taken exact measurements but I...
Blade type is really all about personal preference. If you can, grab extra blade material and experiment. I made three or four before making up my mind. You can grab a complete blade from the shop,...
This happened to me on a V2. But I'm pretty sure I just let too much solder glob up and bridge the two speakers connections. Never had a problem with the switch, though.
I think I'm going to give a go! Thanks, Darkmatter!
Haha thank you, Generic, for the input and for the humor. I think I'll actually do that. I'm doing this for the Ascend that I have and since Rob makes them with the second hole for a momentary that...

The switches would be sliding switches and I would never activate both at the same time. Would this setup be safe?
I just did a stunt saber with three different colors and what I took away...
