So I have to connect the Dynaohm before the positive wire goes to the switch and only on the positive wire, so it would be in series as opposed to the parallel in my diagram?

Could someone make me a schematic for the following;

4AA connector with male JST
Latching blue ring 16mm switch
DynaOhm 20MA variable resistor
1000 mah 4 wire buck plug
Cree LED with male jst...

Should I wire the variable resistor in line with the positive terminal for the latching led switch, or connected the the positive and negative wires?

Is the 16mm Latching blue switch compatible with handle #3?

Also is the latching switch I chose too long for the hilt? It seems very long and like the wires would not fit. Also do I need a bezel for the switch or is it a cosmetic upgrade?

I do not have a dimmer option, I am trying to go as simple as I can as I can always re-wire in the future, so go for a 4- wire puck? anything else I would need?

Ok so I will switch the inserts and get a clip and will switch to a latching switch? Anything else I am missing, I have a resistor for the switch led. Will I need extra wiring?
