Thanks, good advice.
Yeah, i wanted to change that one over to a Luxeon, but if the sound board was busted, I wasn't going to bother. I'll check it out.

I have an Anakin ROTS MR saber that has some sort of internal problem. I looked through the Forum history and couldn't find anyone else w/ this problem, so hopefully this hasn't been answered all...
Awesome, thanks.
I couldn't find any other posts about the new sound board, so I hope this is an okay place to ask this:
I'd like to build a saber I can use for some combat that has noise: Will this US2.5 board...
I really like 1, 4, 5 and 7. Great job! I was trying to figure out how to make one just like number seven for a saber I'm drawing up.
Will do... just needed that info to finish my main layout... got a few more cosmetic plans to finish, then the ordering process will begin.
Oh, thought that was just the diameter. Got it, thanks a bunch guys.
Cool... how long is the sink tube adaptor?
In the non MHS hilt kit tutorial, the Blade holder doesn't have threads on it, it's meant to be bolted to the hilt. If I get a blade holder that's machined to fit inside a 1.5 sink tube, is it still...
Thanks, Zhi-don. Appreciate it. Back when I lived at home, I had a friend who would duel with me, but, at the time, I was way more advanced than him, so I was more teaching him. Now that I'm at...
Anybody live in Wisconsin? Not many people are into sword fighting/saber fighting around here. Need some competition... it's hard to get good at blocking by yourself. haha
But seriously, if...
I agree, the crystal's cool. Good form.
Thanks... yeah, I saw the pics, but I thought that there would need to be something else that held it firm for combat, but I see what you're talking about. Thanks again.
This might've been discussed at an earlier date and I just missed it, but after looking at the tutorials I'm confused: how does the led holder in the MHS hilt stay in? It seems like it's just...
I like 3 and 6 the best.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lexan
Polycarbonate is a type of Lexan... but the stuff I have doesn't dent w/ a hammer... it's too flexible, since it's flat. Since the blade material is in a...
Thanks a lot guys... exactly what I was looking for. Didn't see that site, must've been in the older archives or something. Anyway, thanks again.
By the way, Madcow, cool sabers on the Genesis...
Can anyone tell me what the difference is from 5 degrees to 10 degrees? What's the difference and which one tends to work better?
By the way, this is about an older topic, but the bulletproof plastic is called Lexan (sp?.. that's how it's pronounced, anyway). They use it, along w/ other things, to make bullet proof glass. It...
I feel so stupid right now... you have no idea. I don't understand why he hasn't been shut down by now. It's ridiculous. Thanks again... you know, I thought that some of it sounded cheesy, and for...
Dang! Good job on the wikipedia! Holy crap, I was totally suckered! Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. About the Mara Jade comment, whoever supershadow is, he doesn't go by...
I built my EL saber before I found this site (unfortunetly), but my immediate test of it's strength was going outside at night and beating it up against a tree. If it was going to break, I wanted it...
This may have already been mentioned and I just missed it, but does anyone know why the K2s aren't coming out in the Luxeon star format? Just wondering why it looks so different.
This is an older...
Dang, you're absolutely right. Sorry bout that. Good form, Tiberius
I have an EL saber that's wrapped in leather, which doesn't make it look like a movie saber, but it's such a comfortable grip. You can get the leather in several different colors and widths, as well.
