oh ok. my bad
the most I'd put to that board is 6volts
HMM... A light saber that looks kind of like a sonic screwdriver a tardis blue blade, and it's titled badwolf.... Are you a whovian? lol :) very good looking design
very nice. I like how the grip and the color set off the spikes...

I will do my best to come up with one this weekend
Ripper might want to step up his game a little lol ;)
those aren't to bad to solder leads on to, but they melt very easily so take your time. What is flux paste? Flux paste does 2 things. It helps to make a better bond and to keep the tip of your...
something else to consider. put a coupling on the end of your hilt then use a piece of thin walled 1 inch PVC the same length of your battery holder and use a cap for your pommell. this methood works...
Some say to always use a resistor but me personally from my experiance if you input voltage is less than the max voltage then your ok 99% of the time.
there is a tuto here for PVC sabers give me a...
I'm using an economy board in my mhs and made a sleeve from 3/4 inch PVC pipe that fit's nicely into my choke with some tape on either end of the PVC to keep the sound card from sliding down.
That's how I have mine run. And I've done it with 4 different sabers using the seoul P4 leds red, blue, green and white. I've used the obiwan, anakin, Qui Gon and Mace Windu econo boards. The best...

I've wondered this myself, for all the times I've nearly destroyed one of those expensive things. there should be a tuto on this.
I've used both and I really like the P4's. However since they only come from TCSS in red, blue, green, and white, if I wanted to do a Cyan or a Amber I have to use the Luxeon's.
@jodan-pac I'm sorry I didn't give more detail the Qui Gon board is the same size as the obi, actually I think they are the same sound boards. I tried the vader but it wasn't going to fit where I...
once again your PVC designs leave me in awe...
I really like that saber. Good job!
So I finally built my first MHS saber
Seoul P4 Green
Hilt Style 4
Ribed Groved Choke Combo
Pomel Style 2
Blaade Holder 19
baked on semi gloss black and antique bronze paint
AV switch long...
I had the guarded switch hilt and when I put in my AV I had to open up the hole more. Also unless you are doing something that would requite more post use the SPST short 16mm switch I got the long...
I saw it, it was my first 3D film to go see and I really liked it. That being said there were alot of scenes that really could have been done better, the lightsaber duels left me feeling like I lost...
I'd rather use the proper tap and die. a dremel is very versatile but when you need a drill you need a drill. there is a toutorial on using a tap and die here I'll look it up real quick for you.

I just made an order this passed saturday for my first MHS build. this saber will represent a milestone in the skills I've picked up from watching the talent that are here. it's nothing special or...
I recently built a saber running a seoul P4 blue and a Vader sound board using the speaker powered diagram minus the PNP and it's just as bright as it would be running it straight to the battery with...
