how thick are those washers? they look huge
also what are you using to hold your crystal? i typically see people using the knurled nuts, but yours looks a lot different
so the radiator rings, were those cast? I assume not since the spacers werent, but curious how you came about those because i am having a hard time coming up with solutions for that short of washers

How wide was your clear packaging tape?
Are you using clear packing tape and rolling it once with that really tight? That should mostly hide the edge, then the additional nylon diffusion tube should definitely hide the rest

What's the voltage and ma usage for the leds you are using? What's the forward voltage? decent leds will have the same forward voltage as recommended and your only issue is ma used by each led there...
even with strings, you dont need that much, if you are needing that much you are building your "ladder" too wide most likely. I hear good things about light house but their prices are a little high...
