MTS necks that are .6" (instead of .8"), style 4 in particular. For a Luke v2, the standard .8" is just a tiny bit long.
Also, knurled covertech thumbscrews. I love using these, but I have to...
Simpi too?! dang, man. He was good peeps... I would have really liked to meet him. [sigh] Thanks, FJK.
Dang, man. Do-Clo was a super nice fellow... we sometimes disagreed, but he was a respectable man; true lightsaber OG. RIP indeed.
Thanks for posting this, Michael.
I'm totally loving your usage of raw parts, and your solution to employing the copper T-section is brilliant. :D #machiningwithoutmachines ;)
oi, that's a right good tease if I've ever hear one. ;) Standing by for mind blowage.
Sweet! High Five!
I really dig the overall look, it captures the OT look very successfully. I hadn't noticed the d-ring/covertech until just now, that's a nice touch too. :)
Good job, man. ...
Thanks again, fellas! :D
Seth, post yours already, I want to metaphorically high five it!
Haha! Thanks, guys! Much approciated. ;)
A bunch of us over at FX-Sabers had a pick-up contest called the Flashgun Challenge. The goal was to make a custom lightsaber out of any flashgun, flashgun parts, or replica parts. There was...
Agree with JB. Tactile pushbuttons make it easier, especially ones that you can mount on a switch plate or box. The speaker placement doesn't take up too much real-estate, but you kind of want it...
Thanks, Chef! Are you still a chef? Is that one of those things where, "Once a blahblah - always a blahblah"?
Thank you kindly, gentlemen. It was this or the isotope radiationizing plasmatic projector.... this sounded like the safer option. ;)
D'oh, forgot to post this here too. It's kind of lightsabery... also kind of "lots-of-everything-else", but using judgement, I say, not really a full-on lightsaber - but it's still kind of cool....
It's a great Red. I endured a similar tedium with my Iron Man hilt... I eventually settled on a "Ruby Red". What flavor red did you use?
Yo, DDG! What's up, destroyer?!?! Long time, dogg!
Nice sig block. ;)
Haha! Fair enough, dude. :D
Yo, DC! [silent, respectful yet baller chin jut] "sup"
Thanks, Seth. It's glued-together peanuts compared to your stuff. ;) :D
This is a(nother) Corran Horn lightsaber interpretation piece.
Imagine Corran's mission to Bimmiel or another mission on the Yuuzhan Vong campaign... things go somewhat sour, and his lightsaber...
Thanks! Yeah, I think it might be the largest (single bladed) I've ever made.
Thanks, man! :D
It's a nice halfway between yellow and green, the green is emphasized in the pictures, but irl it's more yellowy. I had always thought it was good choice to be that color because...
No, sir, it is YOU who is the AWESOME!
Thanks, man! I dig your stuff too!
Thanks, guys!
This is another mash-glomeration of all the pictures of the Ulic and Cay Qel Droma lightsabers from the TOTJ comics, mostly the first book (KotOR). It was just a pick-and-choose-free-for-all when...
