Very nice detail work on the crystal chamber! Well done!
I don't think it's charging...the indicator on the charger should be red and steady on when it's charging, green when fully charged. The fact it's blinking red says something isn't wired correctly.
You're using the wrong battery for that driver...it requires a minimum input of 5 volts...your battery is only capable of 3.7 nominally, or 4.2 on a full charge. What you use to drive the led will...
They don't have to be Y connections (they can if you need them for space requirements), that's just showing you that those need to share the positive connection. I have found it easier in some cases...
That is a clean looking saber! Very nice!
The first post said his "Rebel Legion approved costume." ;P
I believe he's asking about this: https://www.thecustomsabershop.com/Graflex-25-Crystal-Reveal-Kit-P1599.aspx
That looks to me like it only includes the internal chassis set up, not the outer...
There's no pictures in this anymore, but the old forum moderator X-wingband made a completely clear saber waaay back in 2006:...
Sometimes a speaker just goes bad, for no real reason. Happened to me several times over the years. You can see if it's blown by pressing on the center of the chrome piece on the membrane (assuming...
The battery holder has the wrong connector on it for that recharge port set up. TCSS battery packs have the male side of the JST connector on them. The battery should be plugged into the other...
Don't know, I don't duel with my sabers. Looks like it could though.
I have had in my possession for several years now, a saber that was sent to me for an upgrade from an old friend at FX-Sabers. Shortly after receiving this saber and another that is in bad shape, I...
looks like those are all back in stock as of this morning fellas!
Yup, a few are still missing, must be I didn't think it was necessary to back up a picture of a screw and a threaded wood insert. :/ (Although both pieces are shown in the center of the first pic.)...
You're most welcome and good luck with it!
I fixed the tutorial's pics....it starts here: http://forums.thecustomsabershop.com/showthread.php?3266-Jay-gon-s-PVC-Hilts-Full-tutorial-on-last-page&p=138540&viewfull=1#post138540
I have fixed the pictures for the tutorial section and have added a few notes to bring it a bit more up to date.
Hang on, FJK...fixing at FX first so I can just copy/paste the text here. But it is the pvc saber topic here:...
Normally, I would refer you to my pvc saber topic here at TCSS, but since I refuse to pay photo buckets prices, the pictures in the topic aren't there anymore. I have uploaded the pics to another...
FX-Sabers.com on the forums there. Lot's of info about where to get parts for what you want to do.
Just an FYI, it's bad forum etiquette to post other places to get saber parts on the the forum here, as this is part of a store that sells saber parts. ;)
What film are you planning to use? Cellophane or the TCSS blade film? Cellophane gift wrap isn't measured in wraps, but in feet. If using that, I'd suggest 4-5 feet. If using the TCSS film, I'd go...
What is your issue with the board? There's plenty of people here that have experience with that board that may be able to help.
EDIT: Never mind, saw your other topic. Carry on.
I have used several of those pommels in the past, and I can safely say they weren't designed with holding a recharge port in mind. Although the inside surface of the pommel end cap is flat, the way...
