You could use a miter box and hacksaw their cheap to buy and easy to get a straight cut on tubes, if your not sure what I mean type it into google image search.

Try pink styrofoam sheets you can get em long cut them with an exacto blade, paint with latex craft paint, and it will make it light and portable thats how cosplayers do it.

They are all real, all have been used the top 3 + the buster are unsharpened for combat and the other two have sharp edges, no so good for combat.

Yeah but you could wire them up like a resistor and heat shrink the works, you might have to mount them on the inside of the hilt for heat sinking purposes like a voltage regulator.
