thanks, the weathering was actually pretty easy :) i use a special fast dry paint that kind of pre weathers then sand to achieve the final look.
threw in a green led string blade just to see how it would look

an idea to keep your hands clean is to clear coat the hilt. it will protect the hilt and your hands.
